This year’s Hobart Theatre Summer School, Grease: The Musical, is shaping up to be one of our best yet – and it opens THIS FRIDAY 10TH FEBRUARY!!
Some of greater Hobart’s most talented young performers are ready to hit the stage in this iconic and fun-filled stage show, featuring all the tunes you know and love from the 1978 movie starring John Travolta and Dame Olivia Newton-John.
After a whirlwind summer romance, leather-clad greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy are unexpectedly reunited when she transfers to Rydell High for senior year. But can they survive the trials and tribulations of teenage life and find true love once more? Bursting with hits including SUMMER NIGHTS, GREASED LIGHTNIN’, HOPELESSLY DEVOTED TO YOU and YOU’RE THE ONE THAT I WANT, theatregoers will be SHAKIN’ AT THE HIGH SCHOOL HOP and all the way home!
Grease: The Musical will run for a strictly limited season of EIGHT SHOWS ONLY at the Mount Nelson Theatre, Hobart College.
