What to do if you have an issue

Tier 1 - Direct Reconciliation

If safe to do so or right thing, bring parties together to discuss. This can be facilitated by a safe third party such as the production manager or director.


Tier 2 - Internal Conflict Officer

You either tried direct reconciliation and it didn’t work, or don’t feel comfortable or you feel unsafe for direct reconciliation, go to internal conflict officer who will confer with the appropriate people.

Tier 3 - Third Party Advocate

If the first two tiers are not sufficient, you can contact our external wellbeing officer. This is a third party service which will help direct your issues in a way that is constructive. Particularly if you are concerned that raising an issue may lead to reprisals or different treatment, or that a member of the production team or committee are the one the complaint is against and you are uncertain of whether they will see the complaint directly via a conflict of interest.

Please note that this is not an avenue to make anonymous complaints, but a third party who can assist with finding pathways forward on how to make a complaint safely.

Various outcomes may include mediation or removal of an individual

Tier 4 - Serious Breach, Illegal Conduct, Imminent or Current danger
