A Devil of an Update…

Hello Old Nick fans! Here is a long awaited update for A Devil of a Time!

When we announced it, we were confident in a delivery in 2023. The plan was as-is, where-is. However, with a little digging more and more and more archival material kept surfacing and more members came forward with long lost tapes. We are still missing a few which we are sure are squirrelled away in member’s vaults, but we’re on the home stretch to deliver what we can with what we’ve got.

What this means is the original promise of A Devil of a Time remains intact - you will get at least one bit of material from every single Revue we have in the video archive, as well as some rare audio-only snippets from even earlier Revues. The programme will be cut and delivered as though it was a Revue all of its own, a time shifting anniversary show. We broadened the scope to feature some additional extras, and we will be including exclusive never before seen interviews with key Old Nick members.

So where is it at? We have managed to take 45 years worth of Revue videos and cut it down to a svelte 7 hours of the best bits. Now we are almost done honing that down to the best of the best bits and it should run about two hours. Then we’ll have a second disc packed with extra bits and bobs for your viewing (dis)pleasure!

We hope everyone can hold on just a little bit longer while we get the material in the best shape we can! More updates will follow as we hit the home stretch showing the work as it unfolds!
